Â鶹´«Ã½ Study Abroad – Summer 2024
Â鶹´«Ã½ students studying architecture, art and interior design traveled from Milan to Rome and spent time in Viareggio, Cinque Terre, Pisa and Florence in Italy.
The group of students led by Instructor Lori Neuenfeldt experienced art, design, and architecture first-hand. Highlights from the trip included a guided tour to see Leonardo da Vinci’s "The Last Supper," viewing exhibitions: "Cézanne/Renoir" at the Palazzo Reale and Picasso: "Metamorphosis of the Figure" at the Museo delle Culture (MUDEC) in Milan, seeing the Leaning Tower of Pisa, accessing new works by artist Anselm Kiefer at the Palazzo Strozzi and Michelangelo's "David" at the Accademia in Florence, a paper marbling workshop and climbing up to view the interior and top of the Duomo in Florence, and visiting the Colosseum in Rome.
