Sixteen teams of Mississippi Â鶹´«Ã½ architecture and building construction science students have spent recent weeks learning to work together as design professionals for their spring collaborative studio project, and their work is benefitting the Starkville Area Habitat for Humanity.
The two selected teams will each split the $500 prize equally among members.

Architecture and Building Construction Science (BCS) students in this semester’s Collaborative Studio have teamed up with Habitat for Humanity.

The first event of the Â鶹´«Ã½ Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee’s Film and Speaker Series is a screening of two short documentary films directed by James Parker, senior special projects and documentary producer. Parker co-produced the series with David Garraway, director of the MSU University Television Center.
Bimal Balakrishnan said he was initially drawn to the position because of the potential for interdisciplinary research and exploring the relationship between design and research.
The Mississippi Â鶹´«Ã½ University spring 2022 Career Expo was held Wednesday, Jan. 26, with a virtual option the following day.
The Â鶹´«Ã½ hosted a reception for Â鶹´«Ã½ alumni and friends and faculty, staff and students in the Charlotte and Richard McNeel Gallery in Giles Hall immediately after the expo on Wednesday.
