QÂ鶹´«Ã½, or Queer students in the Â鶹´«Ã½, strives to create a safe space for students and faculty in architecture and the allied arts who are members of the LGBTQIA+ community and welcomes allies. The club hosts weekly study hangouts and craft events during the semester, represents Â鶹´«Ã½ in the yearly Starkville Pride Parade, and coordinates LGBTQIA+ History Month events during October.

Five teams of students were recognized with honors by jurors for their final projects in the Spring 2023 Collaborative Studio.
The Â鶹´«Ã½ Dean's Council hosted a series of events for Â鶹´«Ã½ students, faculty and staff to wind down and de-stress before the end of the semester.
The day kicked off with a "free-for-all paint wall" with spray painting and paint-filled water balloons.
Next, a teacher from The Studio Barre and Wellness in Starkville taught a "Restore" class that focused on breathing, meditation, and movement.
The purpose of this new course – taught by Department of Art Instructor Lori Neuenfeldt – is to allow students to step into the world of museum professionals and gain first-hand experience creating museum programs, displays, and planning an exhibition.
