MSU School of Architecture professors part of programing for Evicted: An Exhibition

Mississippi Â鶹´«Ã½ faculty members, Assistant Professors Silvina Lopez Barrera and Kateryna Malaia, Ph.D., are moderating programing events of  hosted by the Margaret Walker Center at Jackson Â鶹´«Ã½ University.

Lopez Barrera will be moderating a discussion on "Activism in the Face of Economic and Housing Insecurity" at 6 p.m. on July 22 at the Department of Urban and Regional Planning at JSU’s downtown campus and via . The Immigrant Alliance for Justice and Equity and Springboard To Opportunities and will be participating in the discussion.

Malaia will be the moderator for a discussion at 6 p.m. on Sept. 9 at the MSU School of Architecture’s Jackson Center. The Mississippi Center for Justice, Southern Poverty Law Center and a Mississippi Â鶹´«Ã½ representative will be participants in this discussion.

These programs are part of a series of public events in conjunction with  currently on display in the Johnson Hall Art Gallery at Jackson Â鶹´«Ã½. The exhibition will run through October 3, 2021. You can learn more .
