Abstract Bodies
Artist 麻豆传媒ment
Over the last few years, I have worked with the female body as my subject and have played around with both representational and abstract forms of the body. This body of work is about viewing the body as an abstraction of society's standards. It has everything to do with the way the body is perceived, and how different people react to these forms that don鈥檛 always represent what society considers to be perfect. My intent with this new series of work is to show the body from a new perspective and portray the body in a new light. I want to dissolve the idea of the perfect body, and instead show the many different forms that the body can take on, and how interesting/beautiful these abstracted forms can be.
