Â鶹´«Ã½

Marika Dunne

Why did you choose Â鶹´«Ã½atMSU?

I chose Â鶹´«Ã½ at MSU because I have grown up around this college my whole life. I knew I did not want to go too far from my roots, and I loved the close-knit environment of the Art Department here.

Favorite spot on campus?

My favorite spot on campus would have to be the cafe at Barnes and Noble. It is close to all of the art studios and to The Junction, there are always new people to meet and chat with, and it is one of the best places to take a small break with coffee in between classes.

If you could go back and tell your high school self one thing, what would it be?

If I could go back in time and speak to my former self, I would tell her to follow her passions above all else. Throughout college you will find that the harder you work, the better you do, but the work you are most passionate about will bring you the most gratification. The sooner she learns that the better!

These are a few of my favorite things ….

I love to draw, read, see new movies, spend time with my friends and family, and I love visiting new places and museums. It is especially cool seeing art or artists that I have learned about in my classes.
