Pedestal Pedestrians
Artist Â鶹´«Ã½ment
The allure around celebrities has always been intriguing to me. I cannot seem to understand why the image of the celebrity holds so much weight in modern society. Aside from money and fame, what's the difference between a celebrity and your average Joe? Through illustrative multimedia paintings, Pedestal Pedestrians consist of four bodies of work all done on wood panels utilizing the combination of acrylic paint, color pencil, charcoal and ink.

The Toil of Nature and Man
Artist Â鶹´«Ã½ment
The permanence and presence of textiles and printmaking throughout history deeply resonate with me as an artist. My work is my way of paying homage to the work of those before me, and to the natural life we have been given on earth.

Convalescence
Artist Â鶹´«Ã½ment
Convalescence alludes to various stages in the healing process, particularly in women. Each represent tension and portray a personal relationship to the model and their journals. Feel the tightness in the room. Forge a connection.
In a room full of gradual recovery, are you careful?
Do you watch where you step or keep your hands to yourself
Do you share this space, or did you take it up? when you witnessed vulnerability

That Tracks
Artist Â鶹´«Ã½ment
This large-scale sequential work recasts reality to communicate distortions of a recollection. The narrative follows a prosaic formative moment in my childhood that I only remember a certain amount of. I am interested in exploring the foreboding sense of the world that comes with childhood and how that can be visually translated.
